I cannot say enough the good things about this property. First of all the price is very good. And it comes with free shuttle pickup from the train station. Free breakfast. Decent size of room. Friendly staff who speaks good English. Automatic check-in checkout machine. When we checked out to go to Gotemba premium outlet as the next step, I realized they have a free bus service to send us straight there. And we could have used the same free service when we came from Mishima train station which could saved more. Highly recommended.

I loved everything about this place. The rooms are a little tight but to be expected in Japan. Super clean and the breakfast is good. Super easy access to a washer and dryer which is perfect. Everyone is so nice and they made it very easy to transport my luggage to my next destination.

Mahalo Toyoko Inn!
Very clean, friendly staff. Love the free shuttle to Kawaguchiko station. 5 minute walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. Breakfast is prepared for a big group, not too many choices but it was prepared well. The bed was a little too firm for me, but other than that, it was a a good place to stay. Mahalo Toyoko Inn!

When we arrived at Kawaguchi station, we missed the hotel shuttle and realized the next schedule was an hour away, we ended up took the red line sight seeing bus, and got off at the fourth stop, about 5 mins walk to the hotel. We arrived at 1pm but unable to check in until 4pm; we stored our luggage in the locker at the lobby (free and lots of storage space for luggage).There were a few places to eat and a supermarket all within walking distances. The hotel is also about 20 mins walk to the Ropeway to see the Mount Fuji. Breakfast was included and they have western style breakfast in building B and Japanese style breakfast in building A. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We also requested to have our luggage send to Osaka as we made a mistake to bring our bigger luggage with us, the cost was about 2250 yen per luggage which I thought it was very reasonable. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Good value hotel with pleasant room. Breakfast was included and was very tasty and good range of choices. It’s a large hotel but didn’t feel crowded even at breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent luggage storage facilities.

This is a very neat spot! There’s a Lawson’s down the street, charcoal grilled dining right in front of the hotel. The lake is about 10 mins bike ride away. I suggest to spend the extra yen and get the electric assisted bikes from Pu San Rental (located next to Kawaguchiko Terminal). Did an overnight rental for 4600 yen per bike. But this hotel was very clean, has a common area with luggage lockers and if you pay 1000 yen you get 1-1/2 hours of sauna and bedrock bath facilities.
