Perfect for what I was looking for.
Place was great and priced for what it was. Lots of kids but that happens. Good breakfast and great beach access. Nice to be able to walk on the beach from the hotel. I checked out after only staying there 2 nights because I decided to go to Phuket and check it out. I def wish I would have stayed here instead.

In the USA , this property is comparable to. Fairfield Inn by Marriott. We paid a premium to have Ocean view. The room is basic: hair dryer, fridge, hot pot and tea. The pool on the ocean side is small and has a small bar cafe. The staff were nice. We previously stayed at the Marriott Resort and Spa on Merlin Beach in Phuket. This property is much more basic. When we checked in, the staff member had us download their app. It was a bit flakyy to use.

We loved the pool on the beach area and the bonus of pool bar and Starbucks Right on beach with comfortable sun beds and umbrellas Staff where lovely Great breakfast Rooms were lovely and modern and very clean We had a swim up room but sat on the chairs at beach We didn’t have any sun on the pool veranda Everything is close in walking distance to get food snacks shopping or grab a long tail boat to islands Would definitely stay again A lovely resort

I have NO CLUE how this was rated wonderful. The place smells of mold and kids run wild unattended yelling and screaming in the hallways. There was nothing relaxing about it at all. I had to use my inhaler because I was having difficulty breathing and was wheezing and had horrible headaches, itchy watery eyes and nose only while in the room. I sleep on the porch. Continually brought to the attention of front desk and security and housekeeping and when we checked out. We asked what the smell was and were told it was mold and I already knew it was mold. Horrible place

Buffet breakfast wasn’t the greatest and some items were not refilled, my kids wanted flavoured milk at 7am but it was empty on consecutive days. Room cleaning each day seemed rushed and incomplete (left birthday cake plates and cutlery for 2 days, we had to take it out ourselves). The resort itself is great. The location is fantastic, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. I would come back.

Best place in Krabi for families
We had the best stay ever at Centara Aonang. All the positive reviews we read/heard before staying here do little justice - it is truly the perfect place for families with children. The kids club was the highlight as we let the kids engage in activities there while we went to the spa. Definitely going to come back here - just to enjoy this place again.

Nice hotel, convenient to beach
Hotel is nice and good location, would probably stay again if our 1st choice was not available. --Slow response to overflowing water in shower (slow drain) -- Service in evening restaurant bad to poor, not to Centara standards. +evening manager very helpful
