If you've still got itchy feet, why not head out and see more of the South Gyeongsang region? Don't even think of going home without visiting some of the region's stunning coastal plains, forests, rivers and lakes. Ruins are popular sights also worth a look around. If the weather is nice (or even if it's not), also get out there and have a crack at some popular local pastimes like mountain climbing and hiking.

Namwon is another place where you can sit back and order up room service like a boss. Located 35 kilometres west of Kua, it's where you'll find the Namwon Recreational Forest and the Namwon National Gugak Center. The Chunwangbong Pension and The Suites Hotel Namwon are just some of the hotel options here. Or, you could stay in Namhae, 75 kilometres to the south of Kua, where you'll find the Pension Manoa and Opera House Pension. Nabi Saengtae Park and the Boriam Temple are popular places to experience when visiting Namhae.

Jeonju is 75 kilometres from Kua and has a population of 700,000. When you're there, you'd be nuts if you didn't have a look at the Jeonju Zoo, the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla and Miseong Bowling Jang. Got more time up your sleeve? Take advantage of the photo ops at the Hanji Museum and the Jeonju Korean Traditional Wine Museum. There is a good number of accommodations in Jeonju, with the Dukmanjae and Hongranmiduk topping out the list.
