Amazing find.
This hotel is a great find, it’s on the beach and very conveniently located in the centre of Kuta and right next door to a big shopping mall. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel has great facilities, albeit the pool could do with a tidy up and good clean. We are in the steak restaurant which was really good and the breakfast selection is one of the best I’ve seen in terms of variation and quality. We only stayed one night before our flight but wish we’d stayed longer.

The staff were excellent. I stayed for 12 days. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and knew my room number by the end of my stay. My room was good but there were a few fixtures such as a cracked sink and non-working lights that needed maintenance. Bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean, had great facilities and is a great place to stay.

Great place to stay near airport
I am traveling with a friend, it’s our first time in Bali. We came from Ubud area. We’re impressed with the hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly, always eager to help with anything we needed. The hotel’s setting was stunning. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight, with a diverse selection of delicious options. The hotel itself had a lush, we really loved walking around at night. Christmas decorations were beautiful to take nice pictures too. The beachfront location provided easy access to a nearby shopping mall, and restaurants which were very convenient.

I had a fabulous break at this hotel. The staff were wonderful and could not do enough for you. Nice bar area, lovely pool and the food was delicious. My only criticism would be that the bathroom needed updated. I was expecting a separate shower from the pics so was disappointed to find one over the bath. My parents' mobility was not great and although it was ground floor they struggled with getting into the bath

Location is only the best thing about this hotel, it needs to have a total renovation of rooms, they are old and tired, my impression is our room was not cleaned properly, it’s very hard to get a drink around the pool, the staff don’t come & ask, the only way you can get one is jump in the pool and go to the pool bar then you get there attention, breakfast is very average and in the reception area is very large they need to have more seating there, the only seats they have is down the steps near pick up and drop off.

I have been to Bali 13 time. This has been the worst stay I have experienced so far. This is not a 5 star hotel by far. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are not 5 star worthy, drinks and food is expensive compared to everywhere else I have stayed. Seriously the most expensive stay I have had in Bali and the most poor quality. !!!! I had 500aud stollen from my safe!!!!!! My worst stay in Bali by far!

We ended up at this hotel after leaving a terrible experience at our previous hotel early and I’m so happy we chose Discovery Kartika! The property is beautiful and the staff are extremely helpful and kind. Our room was very nice. I felt the bathroom did need a little updating, but nothing where I would need to change rooms and honestly, other guests had mentioned that in their reviews so I was prepared. The breakfast buffet included with our room was exceptional with so much to choose from. The area is very safe with so much shopping nearby and plenty of food options if you don’t want to eat on site. I would stay here again when returning to Bali.
