We were welcomed warmly by the staff. Upgrade due to Expedia Status was explained to us. Place was very clean. Beds and linens were luxurious. Supplies for toiletries were abundant. Buffett Breakfast was so delicious: we always opted out for the Japanese breakfast, but there were so many choices for western style. The hotel was conveniently located within dining, shopping and transport area. They even arranged our luggages to be sent to our next hotel in Shibuya. All the Staff were so helpful and informative. I really love this place and will stay here again when in Kyoto.

Definitely will come back when I’m in Kyoto next time. It’s centrally located with lots to explore in the area. The staff is always excellent and helpful. The room is large for family of 4 and very new clean and new throughout. Check in & out we’re super quick and efficient using the machines at the lobby. Luggage transfer after was a bonus to make travelling that much easier. Room rates are very reasonable for high level of service and facilities.

Loved our stay here and would definitely recommend and come stay here again. Property was in great location, clean and modern. Probably one of the best bed and pillow I’ve been in a hotel. Only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast, it was less catered to ‘western’ but others seemed to like it. Toaster took too long (it was one of those toasters like mini oven where you have to put bit of water in etc. overall loved this hotel!

Oh Cross it is
What a gem. Our rooms were clean, spacious and centrally located next to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. My family enjoyed our stay at the Cross in Kyoto the most during our 11 day tour of Japan where we visited nearby cities of Uji and Osaka then trek around the old town of Giòn. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Accessible location with professional and courteous staff. Able to assist easily with whatever queries you might have ranging from sights around the area, authentic food stalls around the area to arranging for luggage forwarding. The rooms are clean and well lit. Within the room is a humidifier / purifier too. The only lacking point would be a laundry room within the property and requires one to walk approximately 3 min (1 min if you cut thru the alley instead of walking afore-mentioned 3 min around) to a Net cafe to do the clothes.
