Location is great, right next to the train station and metro. Walkable to the Kyoto tower that has so many great food options (basement). Spa is helpful after a long walking day. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

The hotel is a short walk from Kyoto Station and several other bus lines, so it was very convenient to commute to and from the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and assisted us with shipping our luggage to the airport. One other plus is the onsen at the hotel-- perfect for relaxing at the end of a long sightseeing day. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Kyoto!

Very good for price! We were delighted with how modern, affordable and decently located this hotel was. It’s not the ritz but it’s fantastic for a comfortable and quiet stay when site seeing Kyoto. We recommend trying the buses when going to places/near this hotel. Easily come back to this hotel.

Is my 1st time staying in this hotel and it is very convenient and assessable to train station and also to Shinkansen line too. Am travelling with my parents who is above 65 years, the location is around 7 mins walk from hotel to the train station. To Kujo station only 4 mins. Visiting Kyoto scenic places usually travelling via bus or train, and it is very convenient. Dining very limited on this area, may require to explore a bit more for more option or dining at Kyoto train station. Hotel also offer in-door bathing facilities with onsen for hotel guest. Is a very good option after a long day of walk . Would definitely recommend to stay in this hotel, very convenient and good area to stay closer to Kyoto station if you are travelling from Tokyo or Osaka.

This hotel was nicely decorated, modern and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The family room was very spacious but unfortunately didnt have storage space, so had to live out of our suitcases. This appears to be normal for Japan though. Kyoto station is 10mins walk, Kujo station is 5mins and the bus stop is 5mins. This allowed us to travel all around Kyoto without any issues. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Affordable luxury
I chose this hotel simply because it was near Kyoto Station and affordable, and did not really check the facilities closely. WOW! I was delighted to learn that they have a spa/bath on site. The room was also very, very comfortable - beds that were easy to sleep in, good lighting, strong WiFi, and a beautiful bathroom. There is a breakfast buffet if you choose to pay for it, and the selections are widely varied and delicious -- some, traditional Japanese items (rice, miso soup, fish dishes, pickles) and some Western-style (pastries, cereal, fruit salad, yogurt). The staff was also splendidly professional and accommodated all of our needs, even when it was difficult for them. Our group had 19 people, and we were a little disorganized when we arrived, but they handled our check-in with great patience. One member in our group also cannot take elevators due to chronic migraines, and although the staircase was not typically used by guests, the staff assisted us in getting access to it. Their professionalism and kindness was excellent.
