This part of a two-family house on three floors, surrounded by woods and meadows, is located in the beautiful countryside on the border between the Dolomites of Belluno and the Dolomites of Trentino, 24 km from Feltre and 21 km from Castello Tesino. The house is located in the small mountain village of San Donato, which is reached by a narrow and winding road through the woods for 8 km. From the house you can make excursions on foot or by mountain bike along the "Tesino Bike" route. There are several bike paths nearby, including the Munich - Venice bike path. In Lamon (8 km) there is a bike and e-bike rental. The offer for ski lovers is very wide: at 20 km the Lagorai with the Broco- Pass with the possibility of skiing, snowboarding, alpine skiing; about 20 km away the area of Monte Avena. During the summer there is canyoning in the valley and the nearby lakes (Corlo at 20 km) offer the possibility of windsurfing, sailing and kite surfing. You should also visit the caves that characterize this area (Grotta dell'Acqua Nera, Grotta of San Donato and Grotta of Castel Tesino). The house is also an excellent starting point for cultural and historical itineraries: Vicenza and Treviso 85 km, Belluno 55 km, Venice 120 km. Gastronomy -lovers can taste excellent local products at various fairs and for beer lovers there is a historic brewery in Pedavena (20 km) with a wide selection of beers. The road leading to the village has an access prohibition sign, but this is limited to certain days to allow bus traffic (Tuesday: 6.30 - 6.55; 13.40 - 14.05; Thursday and Saturday: 8.00 - 8.25; 11.55 -12.20). Unpaved access road (800 m).

Eine Oase der Ruhe
Das Haus liegt oberhalb des Weilers San Donato in Lamon. Eine asphaltierte Straße guter Qualität führt hoch, bis die letzten etwa 500 Meter über eine einspurige Schotterstraße zum Grundstück und Haus führen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Haus verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer, allerdings nicht-wie in der Beschreibung angegeben-über drei Bäder. Eines der beiden Badezimmer befindet sich in einem Anbau. Dieser Raum dient gleichzeitig als Waschküche. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, allerdings wäre eine Spülmaschine kein Luxus, vor allem wenn sich mehr als drei Personen die Räumlichkeiten teilen. Freisitz unter Wein und Wohnzimmer mit Kamin hingegen machen gemeinsame Abende in der Gruppe zu einem echten Erlebnis. Im Freien lässt sich mit Hilfe des großen Grills ein formidables Barbecue zelebrieren. Die Betten verfügen über relativ harte Matratzen, was einen guten Schlaf garantiert. Die Natur rund um das Haus ist überwältigend, die Ruhe phänomenal. Wer eine gewisse Einsamkeit und große Ruhe liebt, der ist hier richtig!

Ruhige Idylle in den Bergen
Ein schönes, gepflegtes, sauberes und stilvoll restauriertes Haus (im landestypischen Stil) in wundervoller Umgebung im Grünen der Bellunesischen Dolomiten, inmitten der Berghänge und Wälder. Von dort aus können schöne Wanderungen (in nahegelegene Schlucht mit Wasserfall und Grotte) oder Touren zum Monte Coppolo, bzw. Fahrradtouren unternommen werden - steil bergauf oder bergab. Der Weg mit dem Auto zum nächsten Ort (Lamon) mit Einkaufsmöglichkeit benötigt etwas Zeit, zumal die Straßen sehr schmal sind. Die Lage ist sehr reizvoll für Leute, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen (ohne zuverlässigen Empfang und WLAN). Der Ausblick ist wunderbar, der Garten gepflegt, die Atmosphäre angenehm. Bei gutem Wetter können die Mahlzeiten vor dem Haus oder unter dem Weinlaub im Schatten eingenommen werden. Wie das Essen mit 7 Personen im Inneren wäre, haben wir nicht ausprobiert, da das Wetter Ende Juli sehr warm und meist trocken war. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, wohnen ein paar hundert Meter weit weg. Insgesamt empfehlen wir das Haus gern weiter.
