The hotel was easy to find, and parking was no trouble at all. Checking in was a breeze and the front desk clerk was kind and worked quickly to get us our room key. Once to our room, we found it and the bathroom to be clean. We were surprised at the size of the room as it was quite small. In addition, we felt the room, as well as the hotel itself was dated. Our bathroom was not, though. It actually was the best part of our stay. It was clean, updated and very modern. The shower was amazing! It is worth noting that the hotel is under renovations right now. We likely would have chosen a different hotel had we known that. Also, we were located on the 4th floor. When we were leaving, we tried one of the two elevators only for it to not be working properly. At one point, we were on the elevator, and it wouldn't move, but the door also would not open up. This went on for about 5 minutes before the other elevator finally came up. We did report the non-working elevator to the staff, who responded by letting us know they were aware there was a problem. Breakfast was good with a variety to choose from. Our stay ended up being fine, although for a Fairfield Marriot, we were surprised at how dated we found the property to be.

We came in and the outside looked nice, inside there was construction which is unavoidable at times. This was not a big deal. Check in was fine and we went up to our rooms. The elevators were rough. Got to our floor and all the EVS staff were hanging around laughing and not really moving out of our way. We get to our room and as my wife goes to use the bathroom, it was filthy. The toilet was filthy on the inside (leftover from the people staying in before). There were also hairs on the counter and on the bowl. We decided to go and let the front desk know and they were kind enough to get us into a different room, which was nice and quiet. The first room was by the elevator and extremely noisy.
