Horrible customer service at checking. Raised my room stay from $213 to $492!! Booked through hotels.com and what they advertised was false and misleading. Rio check in person led me to believe that I was paying a different price than what I was billed for. Totally unacceptable!!! Also they gave me a room that was not made, then I had to back down to check in and get another room. Both rooms were the farthest from the elevator!!! Tired from all arguing and walking the long core to my room. In the end I had to pay more than double for the room than originally quoted on hotels.com website. Also Rionpersonnel would not talk to hotels.com either so I was going back and forth with them. Very exhausting and never again!!!

It was so convenient to walk to Walgreens and other restaurants in the area. The Palms is a few blocks away and it was safe to walk even at night.

Check in was simple and swift. Counter person was pleasant. Got my room but the room was old and outdated. Furniture was stained and wood was chipped and splintered. Curtains were stained and tearing and one of the lamps was not working. Looked like the same run down Rio and no updating or upgrading.

We drove 15 hours and checked in late. The lady at the front desk was so understanding and even gave us a late check out. We definitely needed that extra few hours of sleep before driving another 12 hours home. We are so thankful for the nice clean stay! Give the lady at the front desk a raise! She was a true angel.
