We had luke warm water at best all the days we were there. Check in line was horrendously long. We paid for late check out.and our keys stopped working at 11 so had to go find someone to make new keys. That person was very helpful. Overall, we will not go back.

Rode up from Apache Junction AZ just to see KISSWorld. Something extremely rotten on my floor (9th). The stench in the hallway was nearly unbearable. There were fans set up a few doors down. Not sure if someone died, maybe a toilet overflowed, doesn't matter, it was nauseating. Went one floor down for ice (because the machine I my floor was out of order) and there was no stench on 8.

Room was large with great views. Very clean, but hot water was just warm. Check in was horrendous, huge queue, took ages and the quick check in computer didn’t work for us. ( 45 minutes ). Walk to strip was easy but over filthy foot bridges.

A few weeks before our trip, I called to switch our reservation to the new tower so we could stay in one of the recently remodeled rooms. Over the phone, I was assured that it wouldn’t be an issue and that it would only cost an extra $40 per night. However, upon arrival, we were told that no remodeled rooms were available, and we ended up in one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The concierge was indifferent and refused to make any changes for the remainder of our stay. The room was dirty—so much so that I didn’t feel comfortable walking around barefoot—and the bathtub was filthy. On the plus side, the stay was inexpensive, the bed was fairly comfortable, and the pool area was nice. Despite this, I won’t be staying here again due to the poor customer service at the front desk.

Fix your pool situation !!
The Rio boasts about its five beautiful pools. That’s the MAIN reason we stayed there. Only two pools were open which made the overcrowding intense. Also (worst part) all the pools CLOSE AT 5 pm. Everyone gets kicked out. AT FIVE O’CLOCK! It was 105 degrees out. This was unacceptable and we will never consider staying there again for that reason.
