My friend and i came to lisbon to visit a friend who moved out there. The overall hotel was nice, the staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. The only inconvenience was that we had paid for an executive room on the top floor and it was very very loud. Im not sure whether we were near the cleaning cupboard or where they keep spare their cots etc but every hour of the day and night it sounded like people were trying to break into our room with the banging and clattering and slamming doors. So if you're a light sleeper don't pay extra for the top floor.

Rooms are very clean. However they need to llook into the issue with elevators as sometimes it takes too long. Some floors it doesn't work .

It’s an average property that was close to the airport. I really appreciate the staff checked me in early because my flight arrived much earlier than expected. The bar was good for an afternoon drink. I honestly wasn’t impressed with the breakfast. Just go out to a cafe for breakfast. I felt like toiletry products like lotion and hair conditioner would’ve been nice.

We just moved to the area We stayed at Hotel Roma one night and this hotel the next while waiting for furniture. Both are good - large rooms & clean choices but the style and amenities at Smart Design are far superior. This will definitely be the place we will recommend to friends when they come to visit!

We stayed here on our last night in Lisbon because it was close to the airport. This is not a tourist area, located in the Roma neighborhood. I appeared to be a residential neighborhood surrounding the hotel. Room was spacious and modern. There was a large balcony attached to the room, it was nice to have fresh air come into the unit. Bathroom was bright and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Overall, a fine hotel for a few nights in Lisbon.
