Disappointed with our stay

we booked a Junior Suite, as we have done several times in the past. The Junior Suite, with its separate living room and bedroom, is essential for us as a family of four, and this is what we expected and paid for. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were informed that the Junior Suites were fully booked despite our reservation. This was extremely disappointing, as this specific suite was the primary reason we chose this hotel. Instead of being accommodated as promised, we were left with no choice but to pay extra for two separate rooms to sort out the issue.

The hotel itself is fine. Great location, close to Metro. Just don't expect the standard of service that you would from most hotels. Once you've paid your bill on arrival, all standard of service vanishes.

Conveniently located in city center. The lobby is surprisingly small and was filled with almost 20 guests waiting to check-in and check-out with only one employee to help. Additional guests with room key issues were demanding immediate attention ahead of those who were waiting in line. Had an issue with a broken mirror in the room upon check in and was told maintenance was off for the holiday and would address it next day, it was never addressed throughout the stay. Other than that the room was clean and well maintained. Please have more staff present to help with guests at front desk.
