Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
We stayed at RIU Palace in Baja for a week and, unfortunately, the food was the most disappointing part of the experience. The buffet lacked variety, with the same dishes being repeated daily, and many were bland or overcooked and you could taste the recycled oil in most of their dishes . The advertised ‘gourmet dining’ didn’t live up to expectations; the steak restaurant, for example, served steak and seafood that was under-seasoned and showered in oil and butter . But the worst was the Asian Sofia restaurant, you couldn’t taste anything but salt and oil .
There were very few or none options for vegetarians, and what was available seemed like an afterthought. This was especially frustrating as food was one of the main reasons we chose an all-inclusive resort. On the bright side, the service was great, but the food definitely needs improvement to match the resort’s promises.
Definitely they need to revised and work on the food
