The property is seriously run down in common areas. No pool towels, jets in luke warm hot tub didn't work, staff less than friendly. Exterior doors left open so anyone could come and go from stairwells.

This place is a bit weird, though it may be common for Lubbock. I've stayed here a few times. It's relieably fairly comfortable and clean, with a few stains in the ceiling tile and restroom trim.

The photos of this facility must be from opening day as it no longer resembles them in any way. It is dark, dingy, very run down and filthy. The elevator has open wiring which is a code violation. My room must have been a party room for hookers as the bedspread was stained, the mattress pad had a smear of what appeared to be fecal matter or dried blood, and there was a disgusting substance on the wall above the nightstand that had dripped down and dried in place. The night stands both had stains from liquids drying in place. I will say the desk clerk, who was notibly absent when I checked in, was quick to offer me a refund which has yet to show up on my credit card. She was also unable to print me a receipt and apologized and said it would be emailed. Again, has yet to show up. If the city had health inspectors, this place would be shut down. I have pictures.

Hotel looks very outdated, the toilet in our bathroom had mold, they need to work a lot on the cleaning of the hotel in general. The curtains in one of our rooms looked like they had blood stains. I would never stay there again

You get what you pay for, and I can appreciate that. However the price was pretty steep for a football weekend. If you’re not picky, and won’t be in your room much it will do the job. Friendly staff, and clean enough to sleep in after a night on Broadway. Older hotel so be prepared for what comes with that, and don’t come in higher expectations if this is where you end up. It is what it is! And should not be downvoted for not meeting higher end hotel expectations.

Worst hotel ever! DO NOT STAY HERE!
This was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Staff was super unfriendly, and just about everything was in disrepair. Floor dirty, towels stained, bedding stained, elevator looked like it was going to fall apart. Overall, everything in the hotel needs a lot of work and it seems like it would be better to just set the hotel on fire, demolish it, and forget that it ever existed. The only reason I didn’t cancel my reservation upon arrival was there were no other rooms available in town at a reasonable rate. This place is absolute garbage!

It was a bad overall situation, dirty Blankets, smoke smell in the hotel, there was no one seen to clean rooms, if there’s a emergency for hotel, if there’s no choice, I guest that’s the only way I will stay in any of those red roof, other wise I’ll get a different hotel to stay

The room was disgusting. The floor was very dirty. Not swept or mopped. The bed covering was filthy. You can tell it had not been changed. The pillow cases had little black hair all over them. I ended up going to Walmart to get our own sheets, blankets, pillow cases and Clorox wipes to clean our own room. The whole room smelled like cigarette smoke. As soon as we walked in, we killed a few bugs on the floor. Had it not been a huge weekend in Lubbock, we would have been willing to give up the money spent on the room for those two nights and just pay for anything else! Unfortunately we did not have that choice! We will never stay in another red roof inn ever again. Worst experience.

There was 3 staff members standing behind the check in desk with 1 person trying to check in long line of customers. Both ice machines were dirty and broken. One elevator was out of order so you had to use the stairs. (No access to our side of the hotel using the other elevator). The lobby area was very dirty. Had all hotels/motels not been full due to Parents Weekend at Texas Tech we would not have stayed at this hotel.

They only had smoking rooms available. The room stunk. The lamp shades were stained yellow and brown. The bed comforter was stained. The mattress was bad and cheap. I didn’t even bother staying. I left immediately and opted to travel elsewhere.
