It is possible to rent a boat and experience the lake from up-close. There are also numerous parks and promenades along the lake that allow tourists to soak in its beauty. Those looking to catch an even more splendid view of the lake and the landscape should take the funicular or hike to the summit and catch the rare sight of the panoramic vistas from Monte San Salvatore. Another such expedition could be to the Monte Bre summit which is often touted as Switzerland’s sunniest mountain.
