A wonderful stay in a beautiful riad. There are many options for riads in Marrakech, many of which look stunning but feel more like hotels. Riad La Terrasse Des Oliviers felt like a home away from home. We loved the traditional decor, the cosy feel and the relaxing atmosphere. You wouldn't know that the streets outside are buzzing! Great location, an easy 15 minute walk from most of the main areas. We were able to come and go as we pleased, dipping into the lovely little plunge pool with a fresh pot of mint tea, before heading out into the heat again. Breakfast was tasty, the meal we booked on the first night the best we had while in Marrakech! Thanks to owner Renaud for spending time helping us to understand the maze of streets that is the Medina - his guidance was greatly appreciated. Also thanks to Youssef and Brahim for taking care of us in the mornings/evenings and Rashida for keeping our room spotless and putting up with our requests for regular mint tea! We also had access to coffee in our room and big bottles of water on request, which were needed in the 42 degree heat in August! I would highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for fantastic value and a traditional experience in the heart of Marrakech. Magical.
