The people are wonderful. They treat you like family. The views are fantastic. I would go back tomorrow! It is not easy to find and get there, but once to meet the owners, it 's worth it

Great!
A few guest rooms in the back of a restaurant- so be prepared to walk through a restaurant to get to your room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly. The food at the restaurant is great so we are there a few times. Would recommend

Our stay at Complesso San Francesco
The service here was great, the one waiter Angelo was quite amazing, however a few times our rooms especially the washrooms were not cleaned. Also when eating at their restaurant the food is quite amazing however, make sure you get just what you order as a few times we were brought extra food we did not order and were charged for it, making the bills quite expensive. The view is beautiful overall I would give this place a 3/5
A little under 15 minutes drive from Sorrento is this quiet little gem. Overlooking the sea you will find great hospitality and super delicious food. After our drive from Naples a parking spot was a must and they several. For the price and gorgeous overlook this is a great place to stay while on your way to the Amalfi cost.
We chose to stay outside Sorrento as we do not want a risk of a noisy hotel in a busy city. Since we had a rental car, it was very convenient to stay in this village and it was only 10- 15 minutes drive into Sorrento and easy access to Amalfi along the beautiful coastal road.
The staff at this hotel was super friendly despite our language barrier. They were so accomodating and kind: always a cheerful face. We had a few dinners at this hotel and the food was truly very good. We normally avoid hotel dinners but since we arrive quite late the first night, we had dinner and the Bisteca was amazing. Pizzas were excellent and my husband enjoyed the homemade ravioli filled with ricotta cheese very much. Would definitely return to this place when we next visit this area.
We booked a room at Complesso San Francesco as the hotels in Sorrento peak-season were super expensive. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The hotel itself is small and fairly basic but everything you'd expect is done to a high standard. The rooms are sufficient for a B&B stay and the staff were charming and extremely friendly. There was a slight language barrier but with a willingness to communicate on both sides this was never an issue. There are plenty of language apps to help too! And the food at Complesso San Francesco is an absolute must! One of the best meals we had during our holiday and that's saying something as the food in this part of the world is divine! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. Massa Lubrense is also a lovely town with plenty of places to eat and drink.
The Complesso San Francesco offers basic, clean and comfortable accommodation outside of Sorrento. Our hosts were incredibly kind and we had one of the best meals of our entire trip at the restaurant that adjoins. With a very spacious room and terrace with fantastic sunset views to the sea, our stay was fabulous. Do note that this is a pension and not a full service hotel, some may be off put by the basic setup, but we found it absolutely charming.
This was a pleasant guesthouse with genuine staff, and good food. It was a cost effective alternative to a hotel in Sorrento, and well located for driving into Sorrento or anywhere else on the Amalfi coast.

In zona tranquillissima.
We had a great time in San Francesco! The hosts, Antonina and Claudio, made our stay a great experience with their hospitality, good mood and service. Our room had great standard. It was quiet and we had a little terrace with a nice view. The owners run the restaurant where locals meet with tourists like us. They serve great food, and the pizza was really nice. The last day we had to leave the hotel at 530 to catch a buss in Sorrento, and Antonina offered to drive us to there! The only catch was that it was difficult to communicate in english, but thanks to an italian course I had years ago I was able to communicate. We highly recommend this hotel!
