We stayed in the most expensive room having upgraded upon check in as a last minute treat for us and also as the original room we had booked turns out had no window and felt like a lux prison cell. The room and bathroom were lovely, but felt small for a ‘$700’ room. The bathroom however had leaky taps which were loose and leaked water all over the floor and the bathtub plug didn’t work. How disappointing.
there is very noise and I cannot sleep all 4 night. First night there was event party and sound didn’t turn down by midnight. The others too noisy at corridor all late night. If you want to take a rest in hotel room, please avoid. It was worst terrible hotel I ever stayed.
PROs:Great location. Attentive staff, although not exceptionally healthful. The rooms are new, modern, clean and beautifully designed. CONs: The hotel has more style than substance. I would not recommend getting a room with an upstairs terrace. We had a problem with insects, street noise and overhearing the private moments of our neighbors. We also had a cooling issue in November, which is odd because nightly temperatures in the area were in the low 60s.
Liked: Comfortable mattress, quiet, safe, great location, helpful and friendly service staff, great room toiletries and water in room every day included, and amazing breakfast!
Disliked: Lighting in room is terrible, no lighted makeup mirror, unsupportive pillows, limited rooms with king size beds or 2 queen beds, and not enough towels provided for rooms with 2 occupants
Love the property, private roof top parties not so much. Thanks for the ear plugs and all, but at least invite me to the party if you’re going to be so loud I can hear it over a noise maker and noise canceling earphones.
Otherwise the stay was terrific. Nice and friendly, helpful staff. Killer location. Next time I’ll get a room with an actual window, the superior rooms are standard at best (no exterior windows and very small) but you get what you pay for.
I’d definitely come back.
Overall, great hotel and we will stay at the Brick again. Staff were attentive and nice. Property was clean & rooms were well maintained. Two flags to watch out for: Lower level rooms (Superior Room is what we booked) do not have windows & are inward facing which is just brutal and the room description does not specify this. Our room rate included breakfast but they tried to serve us a continental breakfast which we pushed back on and got a full a la carte breakfast for our stay.
Nice hotel and area, close to very good restaurants and cute shops. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The only issue I had was sometimes we would come back to the room after dinner and that would be a smell of sewage coming out from the bathroom. The last day they were doing repairs outside of our door so the noise woke us up early. Besides that I’d recommend Brick!
Originally I was pretty overwhelmed with all the nice hotel options in Mexico City, but I'm so glad I decided to go with Brick. I had a case of altitude illness on a solo trip and every single person who worked at Brick went above and beyond to take care of me. I hadn't even checked in yet, yet they were so concerned and went out of their way to make sure someone could check me and be sure I'm okay. I don't know what I would have done if it wasn't for them. Not to mention the hotel itself is gorgeous, clean, and perfectly silent/tranquil. I know CDMX has a lot of noise issues, but none here whatsoever. The location is also perfect. I honestly can't fault anything. The perfect hotel and I can't wait to be back.

Grossly overpriced and dances with misrepresentations. People very nice.
Rented the rooftop unit. Broken glass in the balcony railings making it scary to use. Broken toilet components exposed. No ability to bag dirty clothes without an expensive bag they offer for sale. Compared to other high end places double the price. The rooftop looked at their trees. No view. If it was 1/3 the price then I wouldn’t write. Buyer beware.
