The area known as the Pink Zone continues to be busy, and with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, however, as busy as it was it was relatively quiet, and I considered it very safe. The hotel was in a perfect location, walkable and easy to get around, just one block from the Angel of Independence. The restaurant (ALMARA) adjacent to hotel was one of my highlights and a great place to dine, I ate there twice, it was that good.
The service was a little questionable as I had to flag down my waiter a few times, but that did not affect my meal or their wine selections. The meal was a great experience, just a bit of flaws with service. Also, the business center closes at 6:00pm, too early for my experience as I travel often and always have access to the business lounges with my room key card, but not this one. If you can deal with these small flaws and see beyond them, you can enjoy the hotel. I did and will recommend it, as I will stay there again.
