Ripoff. The single room is a grave, old, dirty. A/c does not work, shower needs descaling, TV is so small, is not even connected and no remote control.
160 euro for sleeping worse than in the army. Never again
The Hotel was clean and my room was spacious.
Slightly dated but with the train station 10metres away the Hotel is a great location to get about the City
The room was completely full of mirrors, and in general was a bit tacky. It was mostly clean but some parts very a bit disgusting and I didn't want to touch for example minibar. Shower was a bit dubious (and tiny) too. Wifi was not very good and as I travelled for business, that wasn't too good.
The good news is that our room was available for early check in. The bad news is that we were placed in a room in the far back bowels of the hotel. We knew it was a bad sign when none of the hall lights worked and we had to keep walking, and walking. Our room smelled like a boat head that needed to be emptied combined with stale mildew, the bed was extremely hard and the room overlooked the most depressing courtyard you have ever seen. The shower head shot water all over the bathroom as it was not operating properly. When we told the front desk we were immediately given a new room as if they were aware of the issue (why place us there in the first place?). Our new room was extremely small and paint was peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom. The same bad smell pervaded, although not as strong. The hall lights do not work and the decorations in the hallways are covered in dust. Because of these conditions we didn't dare eat breakfast here, although the lobby looked nice. Additionally, we were scheduled to also stay later in the week but changed our reservation. If you stay here request a room overlooking the street.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Disliked: Cleanliness
I very much enjoed staying at your Hotel. Apart from the pleasant atmosphere it is in the best possible position for accessing Malpensa Airport. The breakfast alone made the stay worthwhile- Thank you.
The people at the reception desk (I think one guy's name was Vincenzo) were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were also very helpful when we ask for recommendations for places to eat. They even allowed us to have their breakfast even though it wasn't included on our package. The room was very tiny with not much room to move around, but we had a very comfortable sleep regardless. Would def come back.
I was very comfortable and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast immensely. The WiFi was very slow at times when many people were using it, and the rooms were rather small.
Hotel Wagner desperately needs an update. The inside is like an Iraqi dictators palace with mirror tiles on the walls and fake gold look. Beds are slightly hard.
Toiletries are very basic.
Breakfast is a meagre offering.
In room TV offers no special channels. So if you like the few tuned in ok otherwise best find something else to do.
Staff do not speak English well, which is unusual for Milan hotels (especially a so called 4 star).
I've stopped in 2 star hotels in Milan with similar levels of service but charging more appropriate rates.
Staff is superb (Massimo at the front desk and Paola t breakfast). Metro station right outside, supermarket next door. Nice places to eat great food around the corner. Quiet and nice place to rest after a hectic day in beautiful Milan.
A good stay for a business trip, friendly staff and very comfortable room and very nice bathroom - only complaint (and this is minor) would be the shower is on the small side!
