This charming home is located in Mandrakia which is rather central to the many attractions we visited: the seaside town of Pollonia, Papafragas Beach, Plaka (“fortress” with a view), Klima (the catacombs and amphitheater), Sarakinico Beach, and Filakopi (ancient site – only open 3 days a week). These sights are all within about a 15-minute drive (some are closer than that). It is also a 2-minute walk away from a small, secluded, rocky beach (see picture) and a 7-minute walk from a great, sea-side restaurant called Medousa. The maps feature is actually a bit off, and this house is between the beach and Medousa (beach is just slightly to the right when facing the sea). Stelios is very accommodating and easily reachable through WhatsApp, and he had a rental car waiting for us upon our arrival at Milos Port. He meticulously explains where the best restaurants, grocery stores, attractions, and bakeries are. Also, there was fruit and about 8 large bottles of water waiting for us in the kitchen. He provides coffee, tea, and a panini press for making toast. Another feature our three daughters enjoyed was the above-ground pool and the many fig trees in the yard. We had about a dozen figs while we were there. We were comfortable staying there as a family of five, and the second bedroom can fit three adults comfortably (1 double bed, 1 single day-bed).
