If you head 130 kilometres of Minas, you'll find yourself in the well-known city of Montevideo.

For a day of family excitement, take everyone along to Parque Salto del Penitente.

Bring a hamper of food and refreshing drinks so you can indulge in a leisurely lunch by the water at Bikini Beach or Brava Beach.

Make your way out of Minas and get ready to enjoy some picturesque natural sights. Just 30 kilometres away, Salto del Penitente is an excellent spot to get out into the fresh air. Another sugggestion is Salus Natural Reserve, 35 kilometres away from Minas.

Do you want to expand your horizons? Villa Serrana is 30 kilometres to the southeast of Minas and Mariscala is 40 kilometres to the east. Hop in the car and discover what's out there!

Piriapolis Beach, Pan de Azucar Nature Reserve and Zoo and Cerro Pan de Azúcar are all very close to Piriapolis, 80 kilometres to the south. Need a few more reasons to swing by? Castle Piria and San Antonio Hill are not far away either.
