However, Chapeco is located 55 kilometres from Modelo. Here you can pick from a selection of places to get some shut-eye. Begin with the Eston Hotel and Hotel Lang Palace.

Attractions and Hotels Near Modelo

Sure, you could spend the whole time just in Modelo, but you're gonna come down with a bad case of FOMO. For even more epic memories, you've gotta look around South Region's other attractions. Don't even think of heading home without stopping at a few of the region's gorgeous beaches and coastal plains. Ruins are popular sights also worth a look around. If the weather is nice (or even if it's not), you could also try your hand at some exciting activities like hiking.

Unless you're going to spend a night on the floor of Chapeco Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation before you leave. The ibis Chapeco is pretty close by, or you could always travel into Modelo's centre. It's 55 kilometres away.
