I loved the property, it was comfortable and clean without being luxurious. The breakfast was fantastic but I only tried one evenings buffet and it was lovely. The beachside tevu restaurant was excellent and I loved the room service. The staff were all wonderful and I would definitely be back!

Never will return! Not worth the money!
The hotel itself was nice and the grounds well maintained. There is only aircon in your room and in the stores but the rest of the hotel is open. We had to take a boat to the island where there hotel is so once you go to this resort, you are on this resort. Remember this place is not an all inclusive and if you plan to go into town this will cost taxi etc. The restaurant is very disappointing, we paid 40/person/day for buffet breakfast. So this is approx. 25 Canadian. It unfortunately is not worth this. Things that should be hot are cold and all the food has no taste so we stuck with fruit. As far as dinners, the first night we ordered in and I had the steak sandwich with fries. The steak was paper thin and the fries were not cooked. My husband had fish and chips and also could not finish his meal as it was not cooked all the way through. They also do not season with salt at all. The second night we shared a shareable meal of seafood. Unfortunately there was no way to get into the crab, they put a grilled fish under everything which sogged it out but the rest was good. The restaurant service this night was ok. The last night we decided to do the Fiji buffet night and the food was ok but lacked seasoning, the show was great, but the waitstaff never ever said anything to us. I tried flagging them down to order a drink, they all made eye contact but kept walking. So we were never even given water. I was not super happy about this so I decided to chat to the manager. Not cool

We loved our stay at double tree! For the price the resort was very good! We stayed in a water front bure and it was so nice, very clean and had everything we needed for a baby and toddler! The staff were so friendly, and very accommodating for children! Our 3 year old loved the kids club and the pool. Aside from having to pay for everything and the dinner buffet being expeisnve for what it was, the resort was awesome and we would stay again!

We had the best family holiday staying at DoubleTree Resort, the Ocean Front Bura was perfect, comfortable and cleaned daily. The pool was a particular highlight for my son, but it is a stunning pool and enjoyed by all. The food while having a limited menu (we stayed for 10 days) was delicious, and although there were sometimes short delays between ordering and the food arriving, we allowed plenty of time (for hungry children) and understood we were on 'Fiji Time' and enjoyed the slower pace of life for our holiday. The evening buffets were varied and the evening entertainment was another highlight. The staff however were the main highlight. Never have we received such service, politeness and kindness - nothing was too much trouble. We even got sung the 'goodbye and farewell' song... don't know its official name, but it was wonderful. We made memories for life and can't wait to visit again.

Nice place for the quiet vacation. A little bit isolated from the rest of the island. We really enjoyed pool and sunsets. You can’t really swim in the sea though. Food menu can be enhanced to have more options
