do NOT come here unless you don’t mind waiting 2 hours for your food to come out. the customer service is actually terrible. as there is no buffet available other than breakfast, we had to dine-in for every meal. EVERY restaurant we were met with waiters with attitudes and a could-not-care less mindset about you, whether your food comes out, or how long you have to wait. on top of that, it was a complete freestyle of what came out of the kitchen. ordered a hamburger? they’re coming out with a fish, or forgetting altogether that you ordered something in the first place. we felt completely duped of the all-inclusive service and food that was promised and that we paid for, ultimately leaving us with an experience marked with frustration. would not come back. such a shame for such a beautiful property…

Birthday Trip was ruined!!! All the workers went on strike and we were not notified until we got dressed and showed up to the restaurants. We were told by the manager Ana that we would be refunded for one night for the inconvenience. I have been calling for over a month and the hotel has refused to respond to our emails/ phone calls. We were given this in writing and the hotel still has not refunded us. This is a luxury resort and we did not receive luxury services. I will not be returning to this resort.

Excellence, you owe us nothing—in fact, we owe you! My husband and I chose Excellence to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary, and it was the perfect decision. Everything was outstanding—the staff, the beautifully maintained grounds, and the amazing food (always served hot!). We truly enjoyed ourselves and appreciated the privacy of the experience. At no point did we feel bothered by staff or other guests—it was serene and seamless throughout. We’ve been raving about our stay since we returned and cannot wait to come back!

The property was beautiful. The rooms were clean and basic. The exterior of the room was very nice with personal swimming pool. Luxury doesn’t come to mind. The staff was very young and at times you can definitely tell. The lack of professionalism was seen. The food was ok. The only restaurant that had really good food was the Jamaican inspired restaurant. The others lack taste and again the younger staff. Many of the 8 restaurants were closed during our stay so that was a downer. The night time entertainment was nonexistent. Everything shut down at 11pm. For an adult resort I was expecting a lot more regarding entertainment. That was very disappointing.
