The staff were very pleasant and tried to help but unfortunately they are working with a poor facility. Building is old and run down. Renovations are poorly done. I suspect the renovations were a cosmetic fix that covered up water damage because the rooms (we were in three) smelled very bad. Bathrooms not vented and wallpaper peeing off the walls. Towel racks broken in 2 rooms. All rooms are showing signs of wear because fixtures, furniture are cheap. Sofa stained, desk chipped, bed legs broken and propped up. Looks good in photos but up close it’s not what it appears to be. Kitchenette had exposed electrical boxes on top of the cabinets. Rooms all had light switches that either didn’t work or the lights flickered. Air conditioners loud and rattle, very disruptive to sleep. Again, the staff were wonderful and tried to make things comfortable but unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t stay here again or recommend this facility. Additionally, Expedia listed this as a 4-star hotel when it is not a 4-star hotel but a 4-star “rated” hotel. The photos are very misleading. I also won’t be booking with Expedia again because of this experience and the inability to make changes when the room is not “what it appeared to be”.
