Walking into this hidden property is like walking into a dream. Every corner you turn is more beautiful than the last. We stayed in the over water suite with a gorgeous view of the lagoon and loved feeding the fish right off the deck. Very friendly cats visit daily to the open air sunroom. The sleeping area and can be completely closed off and does have air conditioning. The sunroom/kitchen bar is open air so it does not. Bathroom can be closed off but no ac in there either which wasn't an issue for us. Pack bug spray! The only complaint we had is that the bathroom has a pretty clear view to the other suite's sitting area. Made eye contact with neighbors a view times in the bathroom which was extremely awkward. There are a few bamboo shoots to kind of block the view but it's still a floor to ceiling window with no curtain to the shower or toilet. Other than that, it was an amazing room to stay for our honeymoon. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, we received flower necklaces and welcome cocktails when we arrived, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely a hidden gem.

The staff at Cooks Bay is outstanding. Every person I encountered was helpful and kind. My room was lovely. The beding was comfortably and the AC worked great. The pool bar was enjoyable as was the pool and beach area. I ate at the resturant once for each meal. The Mahi Mahi dinner was delicious. I really loved the sauce on the fish. The continental breakfast was perfect, coffee was strong, and the croissants buttery. Lunch was a huge blue cheese burger, yum. I really enjoyed my stay in Cooks Bay. I rented a scooter on site gor one day and drove around the island, just stunning views! Also, went diving with Moorea Blue Diving, awesome experience. I would definitely recommended Cooks Bay to all of my family and friends.

The hotel has bungalows and the restaurant is on the water. It is located directly on the beach in a very nice bay. The restaurant is very good but breakfast is too expensive for the food offered. You need a car to reach it from the airport or the harbor, and to move around the island. No public transportation and taxis are quite expensive.

Perfect hotel in paradise. Best snorkeling and beach on Moorea right out in front. Easy access to the ferries. The grounds are well kept and breathtakingly beautiful. Exceeded my expectations!

Really a fantastic property! The overwater bungalow experience was probably a once in a lifetime, but worth the splurge. 😁

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They provided great recommendations for local excursions, making it easy to explore the island’s beauty. The on-site restaurant served delicious, fresh cuisine, incorporating local flavors into every dish. Whether it was the tropical fruit breakfasts or the exquisite seafood dinners, every meal was a delight! Niu Beach Hotel is a true hidden gem—peaceful, romantic, and an absolute paradise.
