From Moriah head 110 kilometres southwest and you can explore the major metropolis of Port of Spain. The busy streets of another great city, St. George's, are situated to the northwest, 140 kilometres away.

Spend at least a few hours with ocean views at Turtle Beach or Maracas Beach.

In the mood for some time in the natural world? Grab those car keys and check out Englishman's Bay, 7 kilometres from Moriah. You can also get some fresh air at Argyle Waterfall, 15 kilometres away.

In the mood for some exercise? Work off some of those holiday calories by walking around the Scarborough Botanical Garden. You can also keep your eyes open for native plants and critters at Botanical Gardens.
