"When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city, to be experienced by walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air, and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.
Naples has a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
Strolling through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, one traverses its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is one place that symbolizes Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new 'Neapolitan Renaissance' where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit 'the underground city', or the so-called 'belly of Naples', which served the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters, and finally visit the War Museum.
Particularly not to be missed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the work of Giuseppe Sanmartino.

Naples Capodichino Airport is 5 km away, while Naples Central Station is just 2 km away.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and a stovetop. There's a private balcony. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include a microwave and a sofa bed, and housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.

Gorgous apartment - perfect to stay if visiting Pompeii.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The apartment is gorgeous and was perfect for us as we were visiting Pompeii (30 minute bus ride away). The apartment was very clean and exactly like the photos. The only issue we found was the front door to the complex was very hard to unlock - upon arrival we were shown how to use the lock and had a go ourselves. However, in practice it was very hard to unlock and people had to let us in. The area is not the best, not very touristy and very different to other Italian cities I’ve visited. However the apartment was stunning and perfect for getting to the train station.

Great place
The apartment was excellent and as advertised. A cool old building with fun details. We weren’t told about the key/ lock mechanism at the outter door and there is no one in the rental office between 18:30 - 9:00. After some panic we found our way in to the outter door and the rental company helped us out the following day with a “work around” to get in without the key, which worked great and the rest of our stay was fantastic.

Very good apartment, located in a building next to the Naples Museum of Archaeology and convenient for transport. The local property manager who did the check-in was excellent - lots of suggestions for where to eat in the city, tips on getting around and ideas for things to do. The experience was let down on the second morning when the boiler failed for the first of five times during the week. Trying to get some assistance from the management company was very difficult and frustrating. They only want to communicate via WhatsApp. Eventually we worked out how to restart the boiler each time, but it's not good enough to have to argue with the management about whether there's a problem.

Lovely, quirky apartment, close to the old city centre
Typical old Napolese building in a quandrangle with quirky, features. Perfect for a weekend adventure in Naples, situated right next to the underground station (2 min walk) and a 5 minute walk into the heart and colourful old lanes of Naples. There is no elevator to the apartment which is on the second floor. There was no wifi available and a small TV in the kitchen with local channels. The kitchen had all the facilities we needed. Seamless checking in and out. All in all, a very enjoyable few days.

Shambles
Check in was on-line ok. Then received messages asking me to check in. Wanted a transfer from airport. Quoted a price, but was not confirmed until several messages later, having received a second more expensive price. Finally had confirmed pick up at the original price. Then had WhatsApp messages from two different people asking for my itinerary and arrival time. Apartment was basic. No wi-fi. Shower head was busted and shower had not been cleaned. Had a new shower head when I ask. At the same time told them that key to main gate was not working. Told I had to jiggle it about as it was an old door, but other residents didn't have the same problem. Several times had to rely on those residents to open the door. Came very close to just leaving and checking in elsewhere.

Beautiful space - but with a few issues
While this is a beautiful, old-world apartment in Naples, there are many things to be aware of. First, there is NO WIFI. It’s not listed as a feature, which, sadly, we did not notice (‘cause who doesn’t provide WiFi access these days). The apartment is in a pretty gritty neighborhood. The area is strewn with trash and even feces - it’s clearly a neglected neighborhood. That said, we never felt threatened or actually concerned. Some appliances were not in great shape and only one wall plug in the kitchen worked. The basic amenities provided were negligible - not enough coffee for even two pots (and the French press was cracked and broken), a tiny drizzle of dish soap left… The shower head was broken and sprayed everywhere, which was a mess. (For the amount they charge for a management fee, Wonderful Italy is not doing a great job). And finally, be aware if you are traveling with heavy suitcases, the apartment is on the second floor in a 20’ ceiling building. It’s a schlep to get up there!

Carina was very welcoming and gave us suggestions about what to do in Napoli. I was able to reach an employee from Wonderful Italy on the phone when I needed help. The shower head was broken and someone came to repair it in a short time. Great experience!

Alloggio molto bello,ma molto sporco non curato con scarsi accessori per soggiornare in comodità, un vero peccato che una struttura cosi affascinante non sia curata con dovizia .Napoli merita di più... saluti Mirko

More assistance required
We really liked the location and the style of the apartment but we felt that the orientation to be somewhat rushed . We later requested for more assistance regarding how to get the air conditioning to work again and to obtain a better fitting key to the front door and some other items that would have made our stay more comfortable but we did not receive any help.
