Hotel REC was an amazing property. The ease of check-in and check-out was great. The staff at this hotel were amazing. Any question you had they answered with a smile and truly made you feel like you were their first priority. Jason in the roof-top bar was EXCEPTIONAL. He was very personable and again, made you feel like you were the first priority. The location couldn’t be better. Near easy public transportation, restaurants and attractions. Hotel REC is a MUST STAY hotel in Barcelona. Thank you Hotel REC for a wonderful stay.

We had a comfortable stay at Hotel Rec. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The door to our toilet didn't quite fit because of what looked like some prior damage, so needs to be looked at, but other than that all good. Roof terrace and pool was lovely. Good location for exploring Barcelona and lockers for storing luggage after check out were much appreciated.

Jason and Julia at the rooftop bar were so friendly , loved Julia’s masterclass on how to make sangria . Rooftop swimmingpool is the perfect way to relax after sightseeing . Walkable to seafront and La Rambla. Cute , modern room.

Great hotel, very comfortable room and shower. Great buffet breakfast with many options on beautiful roof-top. Very central location, was able to walk just about everywhere. Luggage room was secure and easy to use when we arrived before check in time. Would definitely recommend for first time barcelona trip.

Watch for festival!!!
Hotel difficile à trouver avec l'adresse en auto. Stationnement non disponible (28$) stationné en face (55$). Aucun avis d'un festival en cour, donc pas accès à l'auto et musique plus que forte jusqu'a 2:30 am. Nous dis a l'acceuil qu'il nous offre le déjeuner vu l'inconvénient du stationnement et nous avons dù nous abstiner à la fin car charger à la chambre. Bref, hotel bien situé malgré tout, mais pas dormi du au festival

Easy for the airport taxi to find. The check-in was easy and our room was spacious. The location is nice because you can easily orient yourself with the arc de triomph. It was easy to walk anywhere that we wanted but also easy to go to the main road and hail a taxi. I wish that with the space provided there had been more places to hang towels. There was one hook in the actual shower and then a second out near the tv. The bed was comfortable but was the only seating aside from one chair. The room has sound dampening from the outside but when spain won the world cup it didnt prevent the noise from the crowds getting in.

Next door restaurant allows customers out on the pavement until half one 2 in the morning if you are at the front it makes it difficult to sleep . Great location beach 25 min walk La Ramble 20 mins Hop on Jop off bus stop 2 minutes walk staff in bar give great service .
