The Shore House was very disappointing and deceiving
Wow! Before writing this review, I wanted to review the website to make sure I am not fibbing.
So, my girlfriend and I wanted to go to Narragansett, RI last minute. The only place available was The Shore House, total cost over 600.00. I get it, last minute and location. I was very excited to have fun since my friend came in from CA.
Check in was easy. I thought for that amount we paid for the room, we would have a beautiful balcony over looking the water. Instead our room was in back, bottom floor looking at a parking light. Sometimes if cars were not parked, we could see the sea wall.
If you review the website, the camera scans the main building and does not show the basic motel like rooms.
What made me so mad and disgusted was the following; my friend and I wanted a drink at the bar at Sea Craft attached to the Shore House around 8:30PM. There were many people standing/sitting around on the front lawn where the fire pit was located.
We found two chairs and quietly talking amonst ourselves by the fire pit. Then the wait staff stated, "Are you part of the wedding party?" We stated no. She stated that we had to leave. I did not understand. Here we paid over 600.00 for one night and wanted to relax in front of the fire pit. She stated that the Sea Craft restaurant is not part of the Shore House and we had to
What made me so mad and disgusted was That we paid over $600 for a night and we could not even relax as a guest
