You don't need to be stuck in a car all day to experience some nature. Just 12 kilometres out of Neveronys, the Žaliakalnio funikulierius is a favourite spot to get some fresh air. More peaceful surrounds await at Kaunas Tourist Information Centre, 13 kilometres away.

Join the other passionate fans rooting for the LSU-Atletas at their home of Kaunas Sports Hall, 11 kilometres away in Kaunas. Blend in with the locals by slipping into the team colours, green and yellow.

The best snow of the day is in the morning, so remember to set your alarm early the night before driving to Entertainment Resort Ziemos Trasa.

We recommend hopping in the car and heading to Rumšiškės. It's some 10 kilometres to the southeast and popular for the Rumsiskes Open-Air Museum and the Open Air Museum of Lithuania.

Do a little shopping and visit some sights in Trakai. This place is 60 kilometres to the southeast and quite close to Trakai Island Castle, Trakai Peninsula Castle and the Trakai History Museum. That said, don't miss the Karaim Ethnographic Exhibition and Uzutrakis Manor Estate either.
