Safe side of NOLA very close to family attractions like the riverwalk mall, WWII & Children’s museum, great selection of room service pizza, burgers, vegan options there’s a small convenience store 20 steps from the main entrance and has a private parking garage honestly best deal you can find and still be minutes from all the French quarter interests

Most of the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The items we were dissatisfied with: 1) we arrived hours before check-in and were told a room wasn’t ready. Then was told it would cost $90 for an early check in!! At 4:00 was again told no rooms were available (along with several other people). We did not get a room until 6 PM and was eventually offered compensation (extra drink tickets!) 2) The water pressure in the bathroom sink is AWFUL, slightly above a drip. No way the hotel could not be aware of this. 3) I have patronized several Embassy Suites around the country, the quality of the snacks at the “evening reception” was far below my experience at other Embassy Suites. This is traditionally considered one of the Embassy Suites “perks”, along with your breakfast. 4) The concierge was, most of the day, not available and when present, the response to questions was “I don’t know, I just do tours”!!

I am absolutely COVERED in bed bug bites immediately after leaving the hotel. I let the hotel know, and they offered their condolences, but made absolutely zero effort to make it right.
