You’ll get a lot of bang for your buck here- upscale fair priced room , steps from both the theatres and fifth avenue. This is becoming my “go to” NY hotel

Unsatisfying customer service at the front. Ladies at the front are so rude. Must educate how to have a satisfactory customer service. This hotel charged us everything even though we didn’t touch any of their food. They charged us also for our luggages!!!! So rude!!!

The Place Is Nothing Like The Photos.
Whoever took these photos should be praised, because it looks much nicer than it is. The floor is squishy and sinking in the bathroom. There were ants in the sink. The bed was absolutely horrendous. The lobby was dingy. They said I owed a full stay...yet we paid a deposit online before we got there. I was too tired to argue, so now I have to watch the credit card statements. The rooms were cleaned every day which was the best part of it. By the time it was time to check out, I was so miserable and depressed with the dark, weird rooms.

The hotel is very old, the only thing I can say that I liked is that they cleaned my room every day, after we came back from our trips the room was always cleaned and ready, so that and the fact that everything is walking distance from the hotel, but the room is very old, the floor in the bathroom was sinking, the air conditioner was a hassle to get it work, most of the time didn’t work. They don’t have a bar inside the hotel and the breakfast was very basic with the same every day, bagels, cereal, pastries, coffee and yogurt. The coffee wasn’t my favorite it was bad. The people at the front desk were not really nice but they weren’t rude also.

The location is very convenient to the busiest tourist place on earth. the room is not "new and shinny" but it is clean. the breakfast is not the top thing to brag about. but it covered our needs. the sound proofing condition has some room for improvement. but again, it is expected when book in the busiest area. Front desk ladies and gentlemen are nice and courteous to answer your reasonable requests. some reviews say they are rude but not in my experience.
