It's a little hard to judge as they had closed their doors and did not, apparently, notify Expedia. We arrived to a locked up building that had been closed for quite a while.

Was not my first choice but a good hotel
Basic hotel no real frills To be said but not a. Unpleasant stay
I booked a hotel for a week stay for an employee, who was traveling to NYC to help at our shop. The location was a couple a blocks for where the employee was working, affordable (reasonable), and the front desk had such great service. The card used was declined due the bank locking it due to fraud charges (at 1:00 am), the front desk worked with me the next morning to refund the employee and use another card. The front desk was professional, quick and pleasant. Thank you to the lady who took 6 calls from me, while trying to figure the payment issue.

Place is meh
Room was small but functional. LOT of street noise, so a sound sleep wasn't in the cards. (We were on 9th floor).
Biggest complaint was the people at the front desk were of little help in suggesting places to eat, how to get places or what to see. You were basically on your own.
Also, no business center to print up airplane boarding passes.
Overall, next time will spend a bit more for a more formal hotel.
Not at all what I imagined from web info. Nice people, but a completely different feel than expected. The curtains are in photos, but the furniture was old and looked it, vertical blinds in the bathroom which did not provide complete privacy. Very unusual digital upgrades such as door lock/do no disturb and strange mirror in bathroom with screen and sensor, or was it a camera?
The lobby was insanely hot. The "breakfast" was cereal, small off-brand yogurt, and not fresh fruit. Our room was okay, but the windows were filthy and one of them was cracked. The staff was pleasant, but we were not informed of the extensive renovations going on. Excellent location, but I probably would not stay here again.

Everything was "okay". Nothing was horrible and nothing was amazing.
The only thing I would say is that next time you believe that an event (e.g. Pride Parade) is going to be blocking off the surrounding streets of the Flatiron hotel, to notify your guest via email. A simple email would have saved my family from being completely lost and confused about how we were supposed to get to the hotel. It took us just over an hour to figure out where we would be parking (because the parking the hotel directs you to is also blocked) and how we would walk to the hotel. An email would have helped us plan better.
The property description available online is no longer accurate and needs updated. The description boasts that the hotel has a bar and dining services, and neither are available. I found the check-in encounter was less-than-pleasant and the quality of the hotel reflected a need for some updates. Facially, the room appeared clean, but further inspection revealed some dirt in the bathroom and leftover coffee grounds in the coffee maker.
My one good experience at this hotel was an encounter with the hotel cleaning staff, who helped me get some ice delivered to my room.
Overall, I paid $469 for this room for one night and it was not worth it. If you can find accommodations elsewhere, do so.

Location lacking, but okay stay.
I literally booked this place at the airport before my flight. Check-in was smooth and the guy was super friendly. Breakfast was an apple and Apple Jacks. Room was clean and simple. We passed other doors that were broken and that wasn’t appealing—it looked like someone had broken in/out.
Location was okay. Not far from a subway station, but not close to any good “after hours” place either. We got there around 2AM Sunday morning and realllllly struggled to find something to eat.
No amenities at all, in room fridge is an old style bar fridge that held small bottles and was not cold, had to have ice brought up but nowhere to keep anything cold. Bed was a double and not a queen I paid for. Stand alone closet with drawers under the bed which were heavy to pull out and you needed to be on your knees. You can hear everything from the room, single pane glass and we were on the 10th floor, we could here people talking from the restaurant across the street. Restoration of a church across the street, workers were installing an aluminum roof at 5:00am each day and then by 10:00 am they left the work site and no other work being done.
Room size was small but cozy, cool features like a TV in the bathroom mirror, crazy showerheads, and memory foam mattress... My favorite thing about this hotel was the location! Perfect to be in the middle of NYC, you're within walking distance of basically everything or a short cab ride away. Would stay again just for the convenience of location.
1st room was really small, very little breakfast choices, staff not so friendly and when I called the front desk for help they said they would send someone over no one ever came.
Hotel charged my card 1300 dollars and then tried to make like it was a glitch in the system and I'd have to wait to be reimbursed. I had management step in to fix it to only have it happen a second time the next day. HORRIBLE PLACE
Overall the building was in a central location to everything, which was great. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with my questions considering I was visiting from out of town. The AC worked very well in our room with those 90% humidity days.. the elevators never took long.. however the bathroom was a bit small but nice. Even though the shower had something broken in it. The beds, not the best. No cushion at all. Covers were soft and comfortable but the bed left you a little cramped in the morning... Also. The Continental breakfast is a grab and go breakfast which is cool they offer that but a hot breakfast is always better. Especially when u have a kitchen on the facility to make a hot breakfast.

I liked that the property was in midtown. That’s pretty much it.
This hotel is not as advertised on Hotels.com, may I suggest you remove them from your platform as they don't meet your standards. My room was dirty to start and maid service never came to clean it, I had no soap, no clean towels, the AC was broken, there is no restaurant or breakfast as advertised. I had prearranged a package delivery and the hotel refused delivery when it arrived. I was using the hotel freezer bc there is no freezer in the rooms, the staff moved my breast milk from the freezer to the fridge, defrosting it and ruining my entire supply. I have a preemie baby so every bit of milk I can provide for him is crucial. I realize New York hotels are always a bit of a challenge but this was one of the worse I've stayed in.
I’m from the Bronx but decided to spend Father’s Day weekend in the city with my fiancé and what a nightmare the weekend was! From booking a room and going to the room and it not being the room I book then having to get switch to another room and it still not being the correct room, let’s not mention the 300 dollar additional charge they charge my card saying first it was the trainee than the computer did it! Windows were black outdated room tv is literally on the other side of the room! Went to the movies around 11am came back at 2 and the room still hadn’t been cleaned! Grab and go breakfast is a joke the whole hotel is a joke! And when you don’t get what you paid for and ask for some sort of credit the look they give you!
