The hotel itself was great. It’s typical New York though, the street itself is dirty and be prepared to see quite a few homeless on it.

Nice, clean, convenient place!
We had a great stay at this hotel. I read reviews so was prepared for the homeless. We didn’t have any issue with them. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have coffee, a fridge and a place to do laundry. It was a good central point for all we had planned. Air conditioner worked good and water pressure was great. Although they had a small water station I could have used it all filling up our hydroflasks. I would recommend a better filtered water station to reduce using plastic water bottles. Bad for environment and it was expensive to buy water for the room. The room was very clean. Not a random hair in sight. We would stay here again.

This was a good hotel - the lobby and the front desk area were very nice. The room was spacious and it was everything we needed. The bed was comfy and big. The only downside about the room was the shower leaked really badly and spilled into the carpet of the room which was frustrating. The street outside felt dangerous with a lot of drug addicts and homeless people around but that seemed to just be the times square area generally. All in all it was a good hotel if you want to stay in that area.

We loved this hotel!! This was our first time in NYC, and we weren’t sure what a “big city” hotel would be like. We loved what we experienced at this hotel! Every part of the hotel was clean - spotless! And they continuously cleaned the hotel lobby, etc, throughout the day to keep it that way. The staff was friendly, kind, helpful, and welcoming. And it is super convenient to the train station (Amtrak), and the subway. I would recommended this hotel to anyone coming to NYC!!
