I highly recommend staying at The Moxy. They let me check in early and held my baggage until it was time for me to go to the airport. The rooms are small but well thought out with comfortable beds. The hotel is in an ideal location in the East Village with many options for dining and shopping and lots of entertainment. I loved my stay.

Nice hotel. Rooms are extremely small, but made the best of it. Only major issue was the lack of privacy during checkin. Hotel staff that checked us in was welcoming and really nice. Only issue was her reading our reservation out loud in front of others tht were there. Other than tht and the small room, the hotel was good. I wouldn’t return

We go to NYC often and we chose this hotel purely for the lower price point. I’m a big believer that in life you get what you pay for and normally we gladly pay more for a nice hotel. MOXY was fine, we didn’t have high expectations. Staff are just so-so. No one really goes above and beyond. The area around the hotel is fine but you need to walk or subway to the good areas. Its close proximity to Union Square is a bit sketchy, avoid after dark. I wouldn’t stay here again especially since there are so many areas to explore and so many great NYC hotels.
