Fun hotel with great live music & lobby bar/restaurant. My go to Manhattan stay-cation. Toilets flush exceptionally loud!!! It’s hysterical. Front desk did not give us my vip 2 drinks on arrival. Oh well.

Clean and a bit overpriced
This hotel is nice but very dark in the inside. I think it may have been a Embassy Suites at one time because all the balcony's are on the inside looking over the main floor of the hotel. Unfortunately, someone was banging on something at 7:00am in the morning and it echoed all the way up to the rooms waking us up. Also, our heat went out at 3:00am. We had maintenance come up at 7:00am to fix it. He knew exactly what to fix so obviously this happens all the time. They did not offer to discount our stay. I think this property is a bit overpriced. Not sure I would stay here again.

This is the third time my wife and I had stayed at the hotel and its always a fantastic experience. The New Years Eve festivities were amazing, we didnt attend the party as we brought our kids for a day/night in the city for New Years, but the way the hotel is set up still allowed us to enjoy the party. My daughter enjoyed dancing outside our room and the hotel having their own ball drop was great!

Got a free drink coupon only to be told later it didn't apply to room service (coupon said nothing). Then charged extra for a room service bill. The TV kept randomly turning on. A socket wasn't working. Breakfast service required flagging waiters down three separate times to keep things moving. Won't be staying there again.

Having booked this hotel for a local even the week prior and having such a wonderful time we decided that bringing our children to experience “the Roxy” was a no brainer. Staff from the moment we arrived was attentive and clear..the rock/speak/jazzy vibe is right up our alley. The Bar staff was great. Music was just right…the late night DJ curated the atmosphere well. Rooms are cozy and comfy. My only complaint which was that our room Heat wasn’t working so we had to have engineering come up to fix it. Yes inconvenient but, handled promptly and with a smile on their face at 12:30 at night. The area has everything you want as far as shopping and food…. One of our top 5 hotels in NYC. Thank you again for a great time.
