The hotel is a little tired in areas, but our room was very spacious, with a great bathroom, and really comfortable beds. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly too. The only criticism was that the windows in our room were incredibly drafty and the blinds did nothing to lessen the draft/chill, so much so, we had to try and fashion a draft excluder out of a bath mat and some of our worn clothes. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Grand Central, the NY Public Library and from there, Times Square.

So impressed with the size of the room. Been to New York many times and not had such a big room. Really comfy bed, great facilities like rainfall shower and tv. Really quiet even though our room was next to the lift. Would definitely stay here again. The WiFi was poor and often dropped out. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and check out. Very close to Grand Central and a 15 minute walk to Times Square, great location Would highly recommend

Although the room was clean and comfortable enough, you are definitely paying for the location, not even tea/coffee making facilities in the room for example.

The hotel is very nice and quiet. Great location. Very close to grand central. It was about 5 to 6 min walk away from grand central terminal.

Our recent stay at the tuscany was fantastic.far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful but close enough to walk.right around the corner from grand central terminal.the rooms were lovely and huge with a view of the empire state from our window honestly could not find a fault.

The rooms were surprisingly spacious for New York but not very clean. Also, towels were not replaced even when being placed on the floor and even when they were requested at the reception. The location was good, the subway station was within a short walk and we felt safe

Room was very spacious and bathroom beautifully remodeled with walk in shower. Comfortable sitting area, mini-fridge…and a beautiful view of the Chrysler Building. Lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to Grand Central, Bryant Park and certainly walkable to Times Square…I did it with a cane. All in all very pleasantly surprised. Reasonably priced for such nice accommodations.

This hotel needs to undergo a full gut renovation. It is ancient, unkempt and the staff is unwelcoming. Lights don’t work, phones don’t work, the shower had gross things on the floor and towels are nonexistent. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Anywhere else!

Just say no! This place is not worth any price. You can't even call the front desk to complain as the phones don't work, the lights don't work, the staff don't care and the place is essentially a teardown. The one redeeming quality is clean sheets and a comfortable bed. My shower had what looked like wet cement all around the drain, the engineer chipped some of it away and told me not to worry about it. When I asked if he could fix some of the lights he looked at me blankly and left. My international colleagues had a terrible time checking in at 12:30 AM and the clerk was horribly rude and unhelpful. Make sure to pass on this one.

The frontvdesk staff were very help full.. housekeep staff seemed to be forgetful. Had tobask a few times for a second bath towel. They only gave us 1. Seems they might of been short on the inventory

There were no towels in the room and did not get any for about 24 hours. There was no kleenex nor any drinking glasses. Front desk did not seem concerned about our situation and this situation was similar to that of most guests in the hotel!! The room itself was nice but I would not stay there again.

Hotel was perfectly located so not in a busy area, extremely close to grand Central. Restaurants around the locals visited so really good and well priced. Only issue was the toilet makes alot of noise during the night for some reason but rest of room was fantastic.

The safe and the phone were not working. Every morning We had to call them for towels even though they knew we were a couple and they would bring enough for one person, not just the towels but also the body wash and shampoo. It was clean but for the price you would expect more from it.
