Staff helpful when room missing milk, remote control and soap which was only available in shower.
Woken early by what sounded like drilling noises in morning.
Although on busy intersection traffic noise not too noticeable.
Advertised as close to John Hunter hospital but was a good 10-15 mins taxi ride.
The ‘regular rubbish’ area was over flowing with bags of rubbish.
The staff wasn’t very talkative and I was quite turned off by this. An elder gentleman who checked in before me card wouldn’t work on the door to his room, he came back to reception and the lady rolled her. Eyes, it’s not hard to smile, smiles are free so is kindness.
Very easy check in & all staff (reception & housekeeping) were always friendly yet professional. Will stay again. Room was very clean.

Had sewerage smell in bathroom. Stains on doona cover. Milk in fridge frozen. Black mould in jug. Alarm went off on first night - continued for some time.
After alot of trouble with the rate quoted and charged and after complaining to the CEO I received a small refund and was told to book directly with ACCOR which was not available. I appreciated Hotel.com did the right thing & gave me the difference. I told everyone including the front desk as we were booking I am a regular patient at the local hospital and normally drive back and forth but this time had 2 appts back to back. I live in a rural community. However, when we checked in I specifically asked for a quiet room not facing the busy main road. We got a corner room facing the busy road and it was noisy all night. I'm sure the hotel was not full.

Room was very cold / air conditioner did not work no extra quilts / very uncomfortable bed / very uncomfortable night / someone smoking in the room set off fire alarms so motel had to be evacuated at mid night / and yes it was warmer outside than in my room / very disappointing and uncomfortable stay
Both afternoon and next morning front office personnel were great. They were helpful and friendly.
The option of having breakfast was great and the microwave facilities were a bonus. Thank you.
Honestly one of the worst stays i have had to endure.from the pokie room to the caravan type shower and toilet, the worst. Ibis offer tea and coffee however no cups or spoons. I used the end of my toothbrush to stir my cuppa. Pillows were flat and very much used and abused. Toilet roll holders a thing of the past supposedly. The toilet paper just sitting in the cavity. The basin thats situated beside the bed doesnt drain due to hair and who knows what else was absolutely disgusting. Little to no sleep due to the bedding and hearing the neighbouring suite defecating in their toilet. I would request a refund if someone would answer the phone.

Nice room, but wifi was not working and one of the beds was not prepared.
Pillows were very soft and only 1 pillow per person No Spare blankets and no milk despite tea and coffee available I also did not realise that the fridge was not on until next morning when I went to get the milk out which I bought the night before and it was warm
