The resort is like a boutique hotel. Not like those big resorts that feel like a mini city. Amsterdam Manor is beautifully landscaped with bright, lively colored buildings. Very quaint and intimate. Room was recently renovated with rain shower and hand-held showerheads, very comfortable beds and daily maid service. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great restaurants both on premises and steps away on the beach. A short walk across the street to what I believe is the best beach in Aruba and one of the best in the Carribean. Love this resort.

The hotel is almost straight on the beach (you cross the strat and you are on the beatiful Eagle Beach). On the beach there are umbrellas and pallapas for you as well as lounge chairs. The staff was very pleasant. My only small complaint (this is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5) was the size of the kichenette we had: extremeley small. There were plenty of pots and pans but really not enough space to cook. We ended having breakfast in the kichenette as well as simple (usually salad) lunch and we went out for the dinners. I was hoping to cook 1-2 dinners during the 6 night stay.

We loved our stay!!! Perfect location!! 10 minutes north and south and you have made it to the most popular destinations. Bus stop in front, grocery store behind us, eagle beach in front. Staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again!!! Bye Aruba!!! We will miss you!!

We are so glad we stayed at this resort. We have stayed at other spots in Aruba. The Amsterdam Manor staff were so pleasant and professional. The grounds are gorgeous and comfortable. The beach access and security of the palapas area is a great perk. We walked daily -- on the beach and on the paved path, took the bus, had easy access to a well stocked grocery store and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the neighboring Dutch cheese store. It was all so relaxing and comfortable.

The property was beautiful and the staff was attentive and welcoming. The location was perfect (across from eagle beach and a short taxi ride to downtown). It would be great if the pool stayed open a little later; however, everything else was perfect.
