Lots of staff, so no waiting. First trip for my wife and I in over 4 years, so we picked a 4.5 star adults only resort. RIU Elite Class was expensive, but worth it in our opinion given the access to top shelf liquor and other amenities. We tried all of the specialty restaurants and the food was great at all. Unfortunately I got food poisoning at the Krystal fusion restaurant on our 4th night. My wife and I had the same main course and dessert, but the starters were different— I had the lobster steak tartar and cream filled smoked salmon. One of those did it to me as a few hours later I spent the night running between the bed and the bathroom. My wife was fine. I spent the next 36 hours in bed and 2 more days to fully recover, which unfortunately ruined the rest of my week long vacation. Next time I’ll learn not to trust near-raw seafood in a hot country.

This resort is perfectly placed on the beach. Lots to do on the resort with additional things to do within walking distance of the resort. Beach and pool were great.

The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The Steakhouse and Krystal restaurant were very good dining choices but the buffets were very good as well. They had a coffee and tea room with desserts and every night a different alcoholic drink choice in the lobby. One night they smoked your bourbon and the next night was a rum night. You had a list of drinks at the martini bar including a chocolate martini which was very enjoyable as well as others. We enjoyed daily stretch and aerobic classes in the pool. Although they are building another hotel next door and it is under construction we didn't really hear much. The only issue was the rain not draining very quickly. We fell off a step while walking to the beach not realizing there was a drop. You couldn't see it. Unfortunately that is anywhere in Aruba when it rains heavily. We went mid November and have to expect some rain. We still loved the beautiful weather most of the time.

Overall I nice place to stay. We used the breakfast lunch buffets but chose to eat out at night. We had major issues with our key cards becoming deactivated numerous times on a daily basis.

Staff was amazing and always accommodating. Was not happy with the check in. They gave me the wrong room, then they gave me a room that was already taken. I walk in and thank god no one was in the room. They had all there stuff hanging in the closet and their pill were on the table. I had to go down to the desk for a 3rd time. It took 31/2 hours for me to get a room temperately only to move again in the morning to the room I actually book. It was a total night mare! The morning desk manager was very rude when I went to get my room in the morning on the 14th of November. But other than the check in and front fest all other staff at the hotel was very good.

Except for the Buffet which was excellent, the restaurants were understaffed, the food was not very good and the wait time was unacceptable. You cannot make a reservation, you have to wait on line for up to an hour because of limited seating. Only 2 seating per restaurant.

Very beautiful resort. Friendly staff. Very noisy which was no big deal except the housekeepers would stand in the hallway early morning and talk real loud waking us up. You can’t make reservations for the restaurants so it’s a pain standing in line hoping to get in.

Like the hospitality most from maids to bartenders.. food was a bit dissapointing but there were enough choices if you didn’t like something you could get something else.

Need to be allowed to make reservations. Need more restaurants for the amount of guests. First come first serve is BS. Restaurants were not at full capacity. Food selection was recycled daily. Staff was amazing but management only wants your money. No beach bar or music. Boring night life for adults only. Better all inclusive elsewhere.
