Great place to stay if you're in Numazu.
The price is very reasonable, close to the train station, family marts, lawson and you can basically walk to Numazu port if you got around 20mins to spare to enjoy the town surrounding stores and manhole and stamp hunting along the way.
Staff was very helpful and polite. They even volunteered to send my luggage up to my room when i can't check in early so i can go and walk around. Free breakfast was wonderful since i liked curry rice more than just traditional white rice. They also changed some of their menu daily. Also got free laundry service so you can basically save a lot of time bringing dirty clothes back to wash. Room was small but if you're just planning to go out the whole day and just return back for a shower and a good night's sleep then you won't be really bothered by the space.
Numazu is a very small and calm city, but boy this was the best hotel in our 5-week trip in Japan. VERY courteous staff - one spoke excellent English and helped us with shipping our luggage to our next hotel. Easily accessible from Numazu train station, but there's not much around to do or to eat. The hotel was dated but all their extra services made the stay worthwhile. FREE breakfast was very yummy and they let us have it even though we haven't even checked in; courtesy tea, coffee, drinks available in lobby until 8pm; amenities such as mouth wash available; discreet but courteous staff. The hotel was an easy bus ride away to Numazu Port which was a nice place to visit on the morning before we leave. We had a great stay even though this hotel room was the smallest during our time in Japan. The staff made it worthwhile. We'll be back!
This hotel is clean and the service is efficient, though do-it-yourself part is widely employed such as collecting toothbrushes from the reception, etc. The bed was small, though again that was as promised. Free breakfast was satisfactory with freshly baked breads and drinks.
I would recommend this hotel for a short stay, very economical, and is about a 5 minute walk to the jr station.
The complimentary breakfast , free bike rentals and washing machines was a nice perk. The staff was welcoming however there was an evident language barrier.
Foreigners should have google translate on hand. Rooms are very small but decent.
Thank you for a great stay.
PS: Love the provided pyjamas!
