Perfect, beautiful, exceptional.

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years. In terms of sheer beauty, this tops the list. Of course having fabulous fall weather made it perfect. Tephaine is a very helpful host. The gite has everything you need, including a barbecue and a washing machine. Late afternoon sitting by the pool was divine. You definitely want to have a car here. So many things and places to see during day trips. I highly recommend this gite

This was a good property with a great outdoor kitchen & a lovely pool. Unfortunately, there was a curfew on the pool: 10am to 7pm & in the heat of July, this was disappointing. The living space is small & poorly ventilated & in order to sleep comfortably, we had to purchase a fan. We found out in the check-in communication that towels were not included - we had to pay 20 euro for the use of shower & pool towels! In all the houses we've rented over the years in France, other European countries, Australia, New Zealand & America we've never had to pay for the use of towels. We loved nearby Nyons, & explored Provence extensively, so we found this gite's location extremely good.

the front desk closes at 7pm and they charge you 25 euro to call them if it's a non-emergency. we didn't have any sheets on one of the beds so there was nothing we could do. rooms are very basic and dated

I checked this morning, and the property is still shown as being in Vaison La Romaine, still claims to be a short walk from the sights of Vaison, and the map show this to be the case. However, this is a total LIE. The house is in Saint Maurice sur Eygues, which is more than 15mins from Vaision by Car. The owner was quick to offer us 100 euros (so he obviously knew) but this didn't cover the cost of us staying in Vaison for two nights to spend time with the friends we were supposed to meet there. The owner blamed the translation, but whilst the french sight does mention the true location, the rest of the lies remain. VRBO should do something about this dishonesty
