Since it was built between the 1100s and 1439, you'll see plenty of examples of Gothic and Renaissance design here but the icing on the cake is its astronomical clock. Try to get here around noon, so you can watch all the cute little characters pop out of the clock and parade around.

The Rohan Palace is another architectural wonder, as is the Maison Kammerzell, and Petite France is a beautifully historic neighbourhood on the banks of pretty canals.
