Photos are very misleading
The best thing about the hotel is its location, being right opposite the train station. The rooms look nothing like the photos on the website. Everything was very tired and shabby. There are no plug sockets available, unless you want to crawl under the tv unit. Very old fashioned and basic furniture, and the bathroom was very old. We were worried we’d be bothered by the main road outside but we didn’t notice that at all. However, our room was on the seventh floor and must have been beneath a plant room as there was a constant, very loud mechanical noise day and night. All the staff we met were very helpful and the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was ok - not a huge selection but what was there was nice. We stayed at the beginning of December and knew we’d be paying a premium for the room due to the draw of the Christmas markets, but even so we felt the quality of the hotel no where near justified the cost per night.

Overpriced but great staff.
Great location for travelling right across from train station and access to Old Town. Staff and service excellent. The downside was price, which was outrageous due to popular Xmas market season. Not good value for money. Breakfast buffet basic, especially for $500 a night.

This hotel was excellent for its location, right across from train station. It was clean, room was decent sized and they served an excellent buffet breakfast. I would rate this hotel 3.5 stars. The only downside is, I wish they provided a kettle or coffee make in room.

Fantastic location! Great free breakfast!
Great property right in the center of downtown. Free breakfast was fantastic! They were very accomodating with extra towels and pillows. The only downfall is the parking but they are up-front about it being a little way away from the hotel. It is a very nice parking garage. While in Strasbourg it is best not to drive around anyway. Just park your car and leave it there until leaving the city.
