Be prepared to be disappointed. Although the ads displayed Flagship as having a sauna, billiard and exercise room available don’t expect that. There is no restaurant in the building. There isn’t a sauna bed on site nor a pool cue for a pool table that is exceedingly poor at best. The “exercise” room is a tiny room with a broken bike and treadmill. The indoor pool looks and smells like a science experiment gone wrong. There were ants in the room, the toilet was broken and the door to the balcony beside not locking required my full weight to get open. Although rules set were no smoking many people were thus the rooms smelled of smoke on and off throughout the day depending upon if you could open the outside door to the balcony. At over $235 per night I expected the bare minimum of cleanliness, truthfulness in advertising and function. Will not return.

I am not one to leave reviews, but I feel as though I need to share my experience at this hotel. Our stay at Flagship ruined our entire family vacation and I want to prevent this happening to anybody else. I am currently 4 months pregnant and I booked this hotel for my family- my fiancé, our 7 year old son, his grandmother, and I. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, as we had plans to be out and about most of the time, but I was not expecting to be this disappointed. I booked in advance for monday - thursday and paid $820 for our room, but I told myself it was just because it was a boardwalk hotel with 2 pools and a bar. the photos did not look THAT bad, but the moment we walked into the front doors I knew I let my family down and made the wrong choice because it was horrendous. the lobby absolutely reeked, felt humid and musky, the windows were caked with grime, I noticed several flies, and the environment was not inviting at all. upon entering our room we were mortified. the room smelled, there were flies, the carpet felt moist and disgusting, our lamp shade was broken, we had a hand print on our mirror, beds did not smell clean, the pillows were extremely flat, and our balcony door would not lock. I contacted expedia as we did not feel comfortable and safe and just wanted to switch hotels. the hotel manager Danielle refused to give us a refund and we were forced to stay. my fiancé ended up sleeping in his Jeep because he was extremely grossed out and uncomfortable.

Great family getaway!

My son and I have been coming to Flagship Oceanfront for the past 5 or so years. We enjoy the fact that its a short walk to the beach, has both an indoor and outdoor pool, and sandbox for him to play in. I enjoy the pool bar! This year we included my boyfriend in our trip and had a nice stay. At first the AC seemed not real cold, but day 2 of our stay it seemed to get better. The hotel itaelf could use some updating, the bathroom tile was lose at one part and some of the towels had makeup stains on them. Besides these minor things, we had a great stay and the staff was very friendly and accomading.We will definitely be back next summer for another great family getaway!

Great location

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean with a nice view of the ocean. But.....the hotel need a lot of updates. The refrigerator and microwave was rusty but they worked. Also everytime we used the microwave it blew a fuse and they had to reset it. In the end they gave us an extension cord to plug it into the bathroom outlet. 😆

Family friendly fun place

Great place for kids. All the comforts of home. Loved the indoor and outdoor pools. The sandbox was a nice touch. Game room, tanning beds, weight room all a bonus. Right on the boardwalk. Nice view of ocean, beach and boardwalk. Pool side bar played awesome music. Very entertaining trip. We will come back!

The Flagship has been our go to since we have been going to there. We love the pool and the area of the boardwalk. My only complaint was handicap parking. Not much is available and parking was hard at times. But everything worked out. I wish the tram was up and running again, also more handicap beach access to get a person down to the ocean.

First off Expedia over charged. $475.00 for 2 nights was way to expensive for this property. The hotel itself was charging 150.00 a night but i did not know that till it was too late. Hospitality was Great. Room was clean but not perfect. Very outdated needs some renovations. Beds not very comfortable. Amenities were good. Great outfoor pool.Parking is not very convenient but it is free. Very limited parking at the hotel itself. We had to park in a lot up the road and walk to hotel. Thankfully they let you park and unload in front of hotel. Location to beach excellent. View we had was not good gor the price. Over all hotel met our needs but Expedia pricing was too high for condition of Hotel.

The room I first got smelled so much of smoke so I had to request a new room especially since I had young children with me. The staff apologized and gladly gave me a new room. She even gave me the option to check two other rooms they had and let me choose. The staff was great with handling this situation.

So misleading. The smells (both outside in the parking lot by the dumpster) and in the hallways are unforgivable. Mold on the balcony furniture. Hair in the bathrooms. Dirty tissues found all over the room. I will never stay here again.

The air conditioning didn’t work properly and we notified management. The issue was never fixed and we were told they gave us the last box fan. They had no more because this was an issue in several room. Maintenance said they had called a licensed HVAC company to repair the issue and were supposed to come day after day but just never showed up. I find this to be a complete fabrication and was just a way to ignore the issue. Maintenance showed up to the room with a screw drive and pair of channel locks twice and finally said he couldn’t do anything because it was running; even though it was completely unbearable. The main entrance and hallway was the only relief from the heat in our room. The bathtub had issues draining, the refrigerator barely stayed close and rusted and the toilet was dirty when we arrived. Management said they could not help and we would have to speak to his boss. When my baby could not sleep because of the heat I requested this person to contact me and they never did. Another guest was kind enough to let us in there room for a short time so my baby could get some relief from the heat and sleep at least for a short time. Why pay extra for a view if you can’t even open the curtains. The experience from this establishment completely ruined our trip and came home exhausted from the lack of sleep. Being nearly ninety degrees outside, I’m just glad nothing happened to my baby. Worst experience ever.
