It was good. My grandson liked the restaurant so we ate there quite a bit. He really liked the pools and lazy river. Most of the employees were very friendly and courteous and helpful. A few of them seemed very disinterested but for the most part they were very nice. The room we had is getting a little beat, worn looking and could use a bit of a facelift but it was clean and the beds and pillows were great. Most everything is very expensive though, especially Universal itself which I find to be a little ridiculous and I think when you stay in their hotels, they could give you a little better deal on the park visits. For a lot of people, those prices are too much to manage. I understand it costs a lot of money to keep those places operating but $650 plus is pretty high for one adult and one child for one day at Islands of Adventure. My grandson enjoyed it and I am able to take him but its cost prohibitive for some people. I think they would still make good money at half the price or so.

Really enjoyed the layout of the property. Plus transportation to/from Universal was very convenient. We never has to wait for a shuttle. We will definitely come back.

It’s a large hotel. We stayed in the Americana building. Liked having Starbucks in the lobby. Pool was great although we didn’t have a lot of time to use it. Good being able to get the shuttle back from City Walk.

The resort was very clean and the staff were so friendly! The diner on site was great after a busy day and having Starbucks was nice and convenient. Shuttles ran as expected on time and was so easy to get to and from Universal.

Really cute retro themed property. They are very committed to the overall theme. Lots to see and do on the property including a malt shop, bowling alley and arcade. Greats pools and lazy river!
