Staff & service were excellent. Room was pleasant and clean. Breakfast was good & plentiful. However on the morning of checkout we had to take an early flight & were told that an early breakfast is provided. At 6:00 AM There were no coffee cups to take coffee, only 2 hard boiled eggs, & most food was gone. They gave me a hard time when I requested some fruit.

This is a really spectacular hotel. Easy access to fly2get, train station, busses, and trams. Easy walking distance from many things. The breakfast is AMAZING, as are the saunas and pool. A big shout-out to Milja for making us feel so special. She answered all of our questions and helped us understand easy transportation. In addition, a tray off dessert was brought to us to celebrate our honeymoon, and we were so grateful. There is no better option than The Hub if you are visiting Oslo.

Fabulous break in Oslo, I can sincerely recommend Clarion Hub. The hotel is very impressive, very comfy bed, cleanliness was to a very high standard. Breakfast was also a plus, fruit was so fresh and tasty, pastries yummy and also the good old English breakfast was nice. We missed breakfast it was a Monday our final day, it finishes at 9:30, I arrived 10 minutes after this, I managed to get toast and fruit juice. I would like to mention a member of staff who was very busy clearing all away, we chatted briefly and he was very kind to offer to get me bacon and eggs from the kitchen, I politely declined but what a lovely guy and an asset to the hotel. This gesture made me feel very welcome and looked after.

Very helpful staff, easy walking distance to lots of attractions within the city. Meal in Norda restaurant was great. Brilliant breakfast with lots of selection - good breakfast hours. Had to leave early for our flight and they have an offering of breakfast and take out teas/coffees for anyone leaving prior to breakfast start time which we personally thought was great. Would defo stay here again.

close to trains
convenient to the train station but a long way from the airport. we were primarily interested in a hotel where we could get the train and had I known I would have stayed closer to the airport and taken a train from there. However the hotel was great. Breakfast was very good and included. Our room was on the meeting floor and a bit difficult to get to and out of the way. Not sure if that was because we booked through hotels.com

The property was well located and staff very helpful. The bedroom and bathroom lighting was very poor. Huge bathroom but no power point near vanity for hair drying etc. Not enough cupboard shelving for personal items. Best ever breakfast!

For the vast majority of the stay, the hotel proved a fantastic choice for a short break in Oslo. It is adjacent to the city’s primary travel hub, so is within easy reach of anything you’d want to do, but most of the central attractions are also walkable. Breakfast choices are fantastic, and in spite of a number of reviews I’ve read, it never felt overly busy (at breakfast or at other times) for such a large hotel. The stay was let down significantly, though, by one particularly experience. On the Saturday night of the stay, the hotel bar appeared to turn into a club, and between around 11pm and 1am, the music was so loud that the bed was vibrating and the shower screen in the bathroom rattling on the fourth floor, three floors above the bar. A call was made to reception, who said the volume would be lowered, which did happen briefly (even though it could still be heard in the room), but within ten minutes it had risen back to the previous level. I ended up taking a couple of videos on my phone, and the volume level is picked up very easily on a pretty basic in-built phone mic. Whilst I understand any business has to look at alternative income streams, it did feel a bit shortsighted to do something that impacted on people’s sleep so much, and I have to admit, if I was to return to Oslo over a weekend, unless I could obtain guarantees that it wouldn’t occur again, I would probably seek an alternative hotel.
