Hotel has everything but not the Compact size room

Breakfast excellent and vast selection all very fresh, staff very good, location fantastic. Room - note the word Compact, it is exactly this. Small bed, you have to climb over the other person as there is no room to walk round also no where to put anything on that side of the bed. No wardrobe or drawer space. Bathroom also very compact. Not for the traditionally built person unless travelling alone. No big suitcases either. Book a bigger room and you will be fine, ideally with a city view.

Great location. Storage in room could be better. Some drawers and hooks in bathroom would improve the storage issue. But this is no more than any other european hotels. Window film for privacy. Great bar! Would recommend this hotel.

The property is ideally situated nest to the Central Railway Station. The staff are great - professional and friendly - and the room was comfortable, clean and secure. The breakfast menu is astonishing! A couple of minor quibbles: the alley below my room was noisy with skateboarders and groups if young people shouting both very late at night and, sometimes, from around 5.00am. Also, there's only one TV channel in English (Sky News) which means, if you're in your room because e.g. it's raining there's nothing to watch. Otherwise it's a lovely hotel and, yes, I'd definitely go there again.

The hotel service was TOP notch. Spotless rooms/hotel. We were upgraded without asking to a room w/a view. Rooms facing interior are very dark; would’ve not liked at all. Bar/restaurant on13th floor stunning. The area around is not quaint & very congested/urban feeling, but within 5 minutes walk one is at Opera house & Munch museum, & in 20 at the Palace or Aker Brygge, or other gorgeous areas. It’s very central to every area. If you’re arriving at central station, it’s literally across the street. Can be loud at night from nightlife. But didn’t bother us. I preferred the more quaint areas around Sentrum, but the hotel Itself was lovely.

A nice hotel but even after complaining every day for 5 days the room was not cleaned. They just made the bed and put towels in bath. Under the bed was 2” layer of dirt and counters were not cleaned. Had to clean bathroom myself as there was hair in shower upon arrival. Never seen such terrible housekeeping in a hotel of this caliber. Rest all was perfect - great helpful reception staff and restaurant staff.
