A pleasant weekend stay
A well located hotel close to the Royal Palace. It was modern with a range of amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast - lots of choice & good quality food - there was something for every taste or preference. Most staff were friendly & helpful, with the exception of one member of reception staff, who was highly inconvenienced when we asked for a fresh glass in reception so we could take a drink of water to our room - he said it was too late to get fresh glasses (at 9pm in the evening). Instead he told us to go to the bar to try and get one there - he wasnt busy at the time as there wasn't anyone else waiting in reception (the tray was full of dirty glasses). We went to the bar tender who was quite shocked & helped us straight away. A shame really as otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Good leisure facilities which were not too busy. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. All staff were friendly and helpful. The Summit Bar is not to be missed!!

The gym was nice in the pool was above average. Jim had a full set of weights and dumbbells. A real upright peloton style bicycle that wasn't a recumbent fat ass bike. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Plenty to choose from. Personnel the desk very friendly and kind. Bar and lobby area. Many good places to sit and just chill out. Room. A little small, but probably average for European hotel. Bathtub in my bathroom was outstanding for soaking. My only one complaint was you couldn't do anything with the temperature in the room except for open the sliding glass door. And that was fine as long as you didn't expect someone to walk in. But being it was the third floor, it would have to be one of your neighbors that would do so. So I opened mine wide when I needed some fresh air in the room. So I can get stuffy in a hurry in there. And better to have a little fresh air for sleeping as well.

The hotel is located in a nice area. The hotel room was spacious, but wasn’t really clean. Bathroom tops and floor weren’t too clean. Stains on the rug in the main room. Floors not hoovered properly. Don’t expect that from a property charging that much money. Staff not welcoming, had to wait 15min in front of a staff to check out and wasn’t made aware of the delay in check out.

Nice stay.
The staff at check in and meals were wonderful. We stayed 4 nights and housekeeping never supplied fresh rolls of toilet paper, we were on the last few sheets when we went to check out. Housekeeping also left obvious trash that we had set with the bins(empty pizza box). They left dirty dishes, but added more so there were like 10 glasses in the room when we left. The pool was nice and clean and my two kids loved it. Overall nice stay and worked great for our family trip.
