Good location for Gare du Lyon. One night stop on the way to Lyon so it suited my purpose. Modern self check in with friendly staff to assist. The room is very compact for two, lucky we are compact as well! The bathroom lacks privacy and would be a challenge for an average sized person to move around in

It was great, especially the staff but just was not our style. When we pay good $$ we expect a front desk and a room with a bed that we can walk around. And dinning that has a few options. Just not for us but in closing, it’s done well.

We stay in CitizenM hotels everywhere we go but in last year the standards seem to be dropping while the prices are increasing which contradicts their “luxury at affordable prices”. So we could afford the champ elysee location as the price was too high so we gave this one a try in Gard Lyon and both places lacked the spark that makes this hotel brand special. Service with a smile was always the first greet but that’s gone. The ambiance felt low and dull, the rooms are all the same so all comfy but the iPad control is becoming a huge annoyance, the tv in room have no remote control another annoying thing, people like a small remote to change channels and not an iPad that has slow response and does not work well, we can’t enjoy the channels they use to offer or free movies again that was a luxury that was removed for cost control but it seems to be that the prices increased regardless. I wish they would listen to customers needs and expectations because the changes they have made from original concept have become a real turn off.

Very cool & modern hotel. Loved it. Great location next to Garde Lyon station. I’ll stay here again. I was solo, so the room & bathroom design worked perfectly.
